Small Group

WOW!
Last night we had our small group over to pray over our new house. It was really cool! Everyone wrote scriptures all over the walls. It was so great to have everyone over to the house, everyone had a place to sit and stand. If we had that many people over in our old house, it would have been a very scrunchy experience!

Sickey Poo

Poor Arra!
Finally yesterday afternoon she just pooped out on me. I knew it was no longer just a nasty cold we were dealing with. So to the doctor we went. And Bronchitius, an ear and sinus infection and three medications later, we're back on the road to good health. She's such a trooper, if she hadn't had just finally pooped out, I would have never known.
I hope the people come out today to check out our big ole' heat pump. I have many questions about this mysterious machine.
Not much really to say today, since we got a sick baby in the house, that means I need to slow down myself for a few days......
Until next time....

Rain, Parties, Painting and a Stinky Burger King

The sound of thunder woke me up early this morning, at first I thought maybe Arra was making some new crazy sound for her wake up call, but it really was thunder!! We got some rain today, it's been months. So, that was nice.
Church today was good, still talking about the Psalms. Orientation-Disorientation-New Orientation. I really like this topic since I feel like I've been sitting in a pile of Disorientation for awhile now. However, I know my new orientation will come someday. Until then, I'll just find happiness in my disorientation. It's really not that difficult :) And after some events that have happend earlier this week, I see more and more how much I adore my life.

We ate lunch at a Burger King with our usual lunch group, we all had places to be so we needed something fast. I've never been to the Burger King on N.1st, but you walk in the playroom first, and it was smelly, then we ate in there...... Enough about the smell.
We had a visiting preacher at church today, he made a comment that everyday will be Sunday in Heaven, we all agreed that really didn't sound like the greatest idea. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he through in a few Friday nights with free babysitting!! Sundays always feel exausting. For some reason, no matter what, you're tired come Sunday afternoon. Maybe it's all subconcious because we know it's the day of rest. But Sundays are great because you usually have donuts in Bible class. Today I ate 3 :)

After our smelly lunch, and great fellowship, as always, we had to get to London's first Birthday party. Good time again.
Then at home, I got the urge to paint our bathroom red. It's taking all the paint I had left to paint one wall. I knew red was difficult, but geez. 800 coats later it looks sharp. But of course, it's still just one wall.
WOW..........Arra just had a SERIOUS POOP in her exersaucer.........
I guess I'll need to wrap this up.
Tomorrow is the start of another work week, another day to change the world. Another day to be grateful.
Well, I'd better change that diaper.
Until I talk to myself again......

Super Heros and Snotty Noses

It's Saturday, how delightful. Okay, I had my trial post so I'm feeling pretty good now.
TJ is in his red cape being a superhero and poor Arra is crashed out from her medicine. For some reason when my children are 6 months old they get bad coughs.....
Dinner with friends and some theatre are on the agenda today. We're taking TJ to see Beauty and The Beast tonight, TJ wants to know if the Beauty and the Beast will kiss... He's fascinated with kissing. I've never seen a three year old get so excited over kisses.
I think this Blog thing will be good for me, if I could get up early every morning and do it that would be swell, but so would jogging. :)
Well, Travis and I are trying to decide what to do to our "project" today. (Our new home)
We found some great light fixtures for the kitchen this week. Trashcans!! Cool trashcans, that I painted of course. I must paint everything.
Well, I guess I'm feeling pretty good today. It's a good day to be alive and I'm excited for a new week to be in view.
Until I talk to myself again, may the roads rise to meet you.

My First Time

Well, I'm trying to figure this thing out... I'm doing this first post as a trial post, so let's see how it goes.
